F1—displays the main help file.

Esc—erases all information from the section of the screen where the cursor is resting and allows you to begin entering information again in that section. If you press Esc from the Customer area, the cursor will return to the Telephone field. Press Esc again to sign off.

F2—submits the check or credit/debit card information for approval by Serf's Up Databases, or (if the customer is paying cash) instructs the programs to compute the change.

F3—saves the information, completes the sale, prints the receipt, and accesses our databases to retrieve information on this customer

F4—accesses the screen that displays information on this customer from state sources. Information supplied will depend on Serf's Up modules purchased; access will depend on the security level of the user.

F5—accesses the screen that displays information on this customer from financial institutions and credit reporting bureaus. Information supplied will depend on Serf's Up modules purchased; access will depend on the security level of the user.

F6—accesses the screen that displays information on this customer from medical providers, insurance companies, and medical reporting bureaus. Information supplied will depend on Serf's Up modules purchased; access will depend on the security level of the user.

F7—accesses the screen that displays information on this customer using our purchasing profile programs and our extensive purchasing databases. Information supplied will depend on Serf's Up modules purchased; access will depend on the security level of the user.

F8—displays and transmits the purchasing and credit history updates for this customer to Serf's Up computers for use in our databases. Access to this screen will depend on the security level of the user.
